The Hearson Assistant Living from the Good Samaritan in Sioux Falls came to My Fishing Pond, June 17.
“We come to my Fishing Pond because they look forward to it,” assistant Michele Lommen said.  “After we leave they ask when we can come again.”
This is the fourth year that they have come.
“I caught a beautiful fish except the line broke,” resident Gloria Hilton said, “and the fish ate the hook.”
    There were thirteen residents.
“I really liked getting outdoors,” Richard Honghton a helpful resident said, “And the food was fantastic.”
Residents Thineon Nelson and Loess Antrin won hats for the first man and woman to catch a fish.
“I was happy I caught the first fish,” Nelson said, “and I even got a hat.”

The food was donated by Sunshine Food Store.
“The food was amazing,” volunteer Chuck Amdahl said, “especially the hot dogs.”
    It was a windy day.
“It was a great day for fishing.” President of My Fishing Pond John Alvarez said.
